Andrew's teaching spans his international career as a performer.
He was Founder and Artistic Director of the Stamford International Music Festival, UK and, with fellow faculty from the Royal Academy of Music, the Guildhall School of Music, the Royal Conservatoire, Amsterdam, the Hague Orchestra and the Royal Conservatoire, Madrid, he works with graduate students and young professionals from around the world each year.
He is in demand as a clinician and has twice appeared as a special guest artist for the American String Teachers Association. He has given master classes at the Shanghai Conservatoire in China, San Francisco State University, State University New York, Radford University, the Hartt School, Winston Salem University, the Jiangsu Performing Arts Center, China, Florida Gulf Coast University and Andrew’s University.
He has taught on the faculty of Valparaiso University, St. Joseph’s College, the Hartford Conservatory, the Hartt Community Division.In 2003 he founded a teacher training program at Valparaiso University with Suzuki Trainer, Ed Kreitman. As a trained Suzuki Method teacher, he has devoted his recent career to working with children as young as three. He is Director of the KEYS orchestra - Kids Empowered by Your Support - a non-profit devoted to scoial change offering over 600 children free music lessons in the Bridgeport School System..
He is Executive Director of the Suzuki Music School of Westport and its sister school the Suzuki Music School of Orange, one of the largest independent non-profit Suzuki school's of their kind in the US. As Director he has organized major events at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center bringing hundereds of children to New Yorks major concert hallls for special educational performances. He is founder and vice-president of the Suzuki Association of Southern New England. He is a "cultural arts program artist" visiting schools throughout Fairfield County with a variety of interactive programs that tie arts into the curriculum.
