Paying his way through college as an arranger and copyist, Andrew graduated the Royal Academy of Music winning the Farjoen Prize for Music Theory. He put his skills to work producing scores for dance and theater. Commissioned by the Heart of England Opera and European Chamber Opera, his chamber operas have been performed around the world. He has commissions from the BBC and his music is published by BMG, Faber Music and Harmony Music Library. He has produced four albums of original music for film and television. As a "working" composer he regularly composes and arranges for regional theater, small orchestra and choir in the service of education and community.
